Wilbur D. Livingston, Jr, MD

Dr. Woody Livingston has called Rock Hill home for most of his life, and it's here that he first developed an interest in medicine. His uncle, Dr. Ben Ardrey, was a local pediatrician for many years, and his influence led to Dr. Livingston's participation in a program at Wofford College that gave students the opportunity to work with doctors. This exposure led to his enrollment at the Medical University of South Carolina.

After medical school, Dr. Livingston completed his internship and residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He served seven years of active duty with the Air Force before spending time in the Navy Reserve, retiring as a Captain.

At Carolina Urology Center, Dr. Livingston performs laser procedures and works with cases of stone disease, bladder cancer, BPH and prostate cancer. He takes pride in making thorough assessments of his patients and in pursuing more conservative treatments, such as medication, whenever possible.

Dr. Livingston enjoys working out at the YMCA along with hiking, cycling and golf. He is an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill and has also served as an assistant scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.

Special Interests: Stone disease, BPH, prostate cancer, laser procedures, bladder cancer, impotency.
