David K. Wright, MD

Everyone knows the importance of being a team player. But this quality doesn't just apply to athletes; it also holds true for physicians. Dr. David Wright knows that the contributions of each individual at Carolina Urology Center add up to a higher standard of patient care. "I'm objective and very realistic about things. That helps me in helping patients make decisions.” When those decisions are made, he adds, “We have the resources here for full-service care."

Dr. Wright has practiced in Rock Hill since 1998 and currently serves as the vice-chairman of the surgery department at Piedmont Medical Center. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and completed his internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was the chief resident in urology. At Carolina Urology Center, he provides general urology services with the goal of meeting his patients' needs with efficiency and understanding.

In addition to his professional responsibilities, Dr. Wright plays basketball for the hospital team and in church leagues. He also enjoys spending time at the lake and with his family.
